TPU Guide Waterproof Case for Smartphones

Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) is a PVC-free / PFC-free material utilized in a number of functional areas within Sea to Summit products.

It is used either an airproof barrier (sleeping mats), a waterproof barrier (dry bags, packing cubes, Folding Bucket) or a transparent layer (View Dry Bags, Accessory Cases, See Pouches).

TPU is strong and flexible (even when cold), and works well for applications such as attachment points/straps on Watercells.

This product has been tested to be waterproof to a water pressure equivalent to a depth of 10 meters, for up to 1 hour when properly closed. The IPX8 rating is not a guarantee that an electronic device stored in the Sea to Summit product will withstand that kind of pressure; nor are these storage products designed for intentional submersion use. This product is free of any Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). This means that the production process is significantly more environmentally friendly, and the disposal of the product at the end of its life will also not burden the environment. With advances in modern polymers, it also means there's no reduction in performance.
