Are Stretch-Locs rated with a maximum load?

No. There is no standard for rating the breaking strain of stretch straps, but Sea to Summit’s destruction testing shows they are extremely strong.

How do I remove kinks in Stretch-Locs?

Pouring boiling water over Stretch-Loc straps should straighten out any kinks and will not harm the strap or buckle.
