Any backpacking stove will work. Just keep the flame pattern inside the ring printed on the base. If using the stove from a personal cooking system, you will need a pot adaptor.

Why a stainless-steel handle on an ultralight pot?

Three words: Safety, safety, safety. The Click Safe handle allows you to securely hold a pot filled with boiling water making it a critical feature.

Will boiling water damage the Cup?

No. The silicone rubber sides and nylon base/rings will easily withstand boiling water. Take care to hold a Cup containing hot liquid by the rim to keep your fingers cool.
