Technical Features
RCS-certified
Fabrics or materials used in these products are certified as recycled according to the Recycled Claim Standard. RCS is an international, voluntary standard that uses the ISO definition for 'recycled'. It sets criteria for third-party certification of recycled input and ensures responsibility throughout the supply chain. Sea to Summit considers environmental impact in its choice of materials, and recycled materials are chosen only when they meet appropriate performance and durability levels.
PILLOWLOCK SYSTEM
The Pillow Lock System comprises of self-adhesive hook-and-loop patches which are supplied with all Sea to Summit Aeros Pillows (as of Spring 2026). Attached to your sleeping mat, these patches secure your pillow and prevent it slipping. All Sea to Summit Pillows (as of Spring 2019) are compatible with this system.

The Foam Core Pillow can be washed in a front-loading washing machine on a gentle cycle or hand washed. Air drying is preferred over machine drying.
Will this camping pillow slip off the sleeping mat?
Since 2019, all Sea to Summit pillows can be secured to your sleeping mat using the Pillow Lock System.
Is the Foam Core camping pillow lightweight and packable?
Foam Core camping pillows are relatively compact, rolling up to a packed volume of three liters or less. For more lightweight packability, consider the Aeros Down camping pillows.
Does the Foam Core camping pillow come with a stuff sack?
Instead of a stuff sack, Foam Core camping pillows feature an integrated flap closure. Simply roll the pillow and secure it with the built-in hook-and-loop closure for easy transport.
