Technical Features
Ultra-Sil LS
Ultra-Sil LS is a series of newly-developed nylon fabrics with a grid of polyester yarns (mini ripstop). Used in tent rainflies, tarps and tent floors, all yarns are RCS-certified recycled and bluesign APPROVED, non-PFAS and flame-retardant free. Ultra-Sil LS utilises a Sil/PeU waterproof coating, with a non-PFAS DWR finish. Advantages: Less stretch (which means a tauter pitch, especially in the wet), quicker drying.

How do I pitch the Mesh Bug Shelter without the Escapist Tarp?
You’ll need poles for each end, such as trekking poles, plus guylines attached to the suspension cords at all six corners. Detachable Escapist Tarp guylines or lengths of cord work well.
Is the Mesh Bug Shelter no-see-um proof?
Yes. The mesh is fine enough to protect against no-see-ums, midges, and sandflies.
Can I treat the Mesh Bug Shelter with permethrin without harming it?
Yes. Spray-on or immersion-applied permethrin will not harm the materials of the Mesh Bug Shelter.
