Description

Granger’s Down Wash is a powerful, yet gentle, cleaner specifically formulated to clean down and synthetic down-filled articles without damaging or inhibiting insulation and hydrophobic properties. Regular detergents should not be used when cleaning down gear as they can hinder the insulation and repellency performance by leaving chemical residues behind. The Down Wash has been specifically formulated to clean down gear without damaging the delicate material within. It comes in 100% Post- Consumer Recycled (PCR) bottle containing Ocean Waste Plastic (OWP) and is Bluesign® approved.

Looking after your sleeping bag - why is it important?

Sea to Summit believes outdoor gear should be reliable, functional, and made to last but even the best made gear will have a shorter lifespan if not properly taken care of. Oils and salts from perspiration, grime and dirt from the outside can remain inside the bag and compromise insulation. However, conventional detergents and dry cleaning chemicals will strip the oils from down and reduce the loft, so it is important to use products specially formulated for down.

 Keeping your sleeping bag clean will preserve its quality, warmth and allow it to work at its maximum performance ensuring you can sleep better on your adventures.
