Frequently Asked questions

How should I best store my Comfort Deluxe Mat?

Ideally, an SI Mat should be stored unrolled with the valve open - perhaps laid flat
under a bed. If this is not possible, store loosely rolled with thevalve open

Can the Coupler Loops join two Regular mats together?

Coupler
Loops are only designed for mats up to 3" / 8cm thickness - they will
not work with Comfort Deluxe mats

How do I inflate my sleeping mat the first time, and on future uses?

When shipped from the factory, the self-inflating mats are vacuum packed. For first use, open the valve(s) and leave the foam to 'unstick' and expand. Subsequent use: the mat will inflate to atmospheric pressure - add air using the built-in pump sack in the stuff sack.

How do I find a point of air loss in a Comfort Deluxe mat?

Inflate the mat, soak the surface (in sections) using soapy water - bubbles will indicate air loss.
