About The Product

The Alto Bikepacking two-person tent is a semi-freestanding ultralight tent perfect for weight-conscious bikepackers who still want a high degree of liveability in their shelter. The revolutionary Tension Ridge architecture of the Alto allows for taller oversized doors and vertical walls that create an unrivalled amount of space. Apex Vents positioned at the highest point of the tent effectively expel moist air and minimize condensation, and the variable rainfly can be rolled back on both sides for stargazing, then deployed quickly from inside the tent. ‘Alto’ is the Italian word for ‘high’. One night will prove that the Alto is a level above other ultralight bikepacking tents.

Tension Ridge raises the tent’s shape upwards for more usable head-and-shoulder space and creates truly higher doors for easier entry and more vestibule storage.
Colour-coded ultra-strong lightweight DAC NSL poleset and quick connect pole feet make for easy setup.
Made for longevity and superior waterproof performance by using premium materials including DAC poles, YKK zippers, 7-series aluminium hardware and seam-taped PeU-coated rainfly.
Bike-specific storage system: tent packs into two 420D waterproof and durable eVent Dry Sacks with Stretch-Loc Straps for reliable mounting.
Rainfly can be setup first for a dry setup and takedown.
Includes shorter pole sections to better suit bikepacking needs.
Includes 11 Ground Control Light Tent Pegs and 4 removable Ground Control Guy Lines with custom attachment toggles.
To extend the life of your tent floor we recommend using a Sea to Summit footprint - sold separately.

Construction & Materials

The 15 cm deep 15D nylon tub floor is rated to 1200mm hydrostatic head – ultralight, waterproof and durable.
Ultra-lightweight 15D polyester mesh inner for maximum ventilation. Its green colour provides excellent visibility.
Silicone / Polyether Polyurethane coated 15D nylon rainfly fabric provides long-lasting waterproof performance.
The poles of the Tension Ridge are swept upwards – not angled downwards as is common in tents. This raises the tent’s shape, providing significantly more liveable space.
Apex Vent - at the highest point of the tent, this oversized vent efficiently expels warm air to prevent condensation and can be easily zipped shut from inside the tent.
Baseline Vents allow you to control airflow and effectively manage humidity and condensation in wet conditions without letting the rain in.
Quick Connect Foot is a beautifully designed, machined aluminium clip that attaches the pole and the inner foot with ease and is stronger than plastic buckles that can break.
Apex Vent - at the highest point of the tent, this oversized vent efficiently expels warm air to prevent condensation and can be easily zipped shut from inside the tent.

Mounting Instructions

Correctly Mount Your Bikepacking Tent

The Telos Bikepack Drybag can be conveniently attached to multiple locations on a bicycle with the appropriate mounting hardware. Connecting any piece of equipment to a bicycle must be done correctly and with appropriate caution. The item of equipment may become detached and all or part of it might become entangled in any of the moving parts of the bicycle (wheels, drivetrain). This could result in damage to property or injury to the rider or other persons.
