Chris Webb

Canberra-boy Chris began climbing at the age of 15, and eight years later completed one of the world’s hardest bouldering problems, The Wheel of Life, grade V16,  in the Grampians (check out the YouTube video). One of only two people in the world to accomplish this, Chris has now set his 2008 sights on placing in a world championship.

On the route climbing side of life, his highest achievement has been making the first ascent of White Ladder, Grade 34, in Nowra. But as he says, as soon as he climbs one project, there seems to be another out there calling out his name. At 23 years of age, expect to see Chris Webb-Parsons’ name pushing the limits of Australian rock-climbing for many years to come.
